FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ComSouth To Offer “Glitch Guys” IT Service For Businesses (Perry) -- ComSouth will begin offering computer and network repair, maintenance and support services for area businesses beginning July 9th, according to an announcement today by company president Bob Krueger. ComSouth has purchased TechKnow, a local computer services firm, and former owner Mike Baker and technician, Daniel Garbisch, will join ComSouth to provide services in the Perry-Unadilla-Marshallville-Pinehurst areas. “We are delighted that Mike and Daniel have agreed to join us,” said Krueger. “They know the local market very well, and they already have relationships with many businesses in the area. By joining ComSouth, Mike and Daniel can expand the services they offer their present customers, and together we can support many more companies in the area.” In addition, ComSouth has purchased Peach Computers in Hawkinsville, another local computer services firm, and former owner Tom Dawson will join ComSouth as well to provide computer services for ComSouth’s customers in the Hawkinsville-Cochran markets. To be known as “Glitch Guys”, ComSouth’s new department will offer server/client/network setup and management, as well as setup and support services for remote access, router configuration, backup systems, VPNs, applications, databases, and wireless access. The Glitch Guys will also handle hardware repairs, including some printers, and provide general Information Technology (IT) consulting. “In recent months, many businesses in the Perry area have asked ComSouth to provide computer, network, and related IT services,” Krueger explained. “We are pleased to answer that demand by combining the talent and experience of Mike Baker and Daniel Garbisch with the depth of capabilities offered by the technical and customer service staffs at ComSouth.” “This is a win-win for local area businesses,” added Mike Baker, “because businesses that need computer help will now have access to expanded service hours—ComSouth’s office in Perry is open 8:00-6:00 Monday-Friday and 9:00-1:00 Saturdays. Plus, ComSouth will offer a ‘live’ service. Instead of leaving messages on an answering machine, business people can speak with a ComSouth customer service representative in person.” ComSouth will also offer a “drop-off” service, Baker added. Customers can drop off equipment at ComSouth’s office in Perry and explain problems in person. ComSouth’s Glitch Guys will offer discounted annual service contracts as well as non-contracted service calls, Krueger said. “Our intention is to provide the best, most competitive computer service plans in the market,” he said. “We’ll definitely beat the rates offered by those national retailers.” For more information,
